Two big trees came crashing down early Friday morning, June 17, 2022, during a severe storm. The trees were located roughly two blocks away from each other on East Morgan and South Fourth streets (shown above) and on East Oak and South Fifth streets (not shown). Both trees were rotted on the inside, which likely weakened the the trunks. Both tree trunks were snapped in half during the storm.
