The 150th Annual Hurdland Fourth of July Celebration kicked off with local musicians, a Cornhole Tournament, the Little Mister and Miss Firecracker Contest and an assortment of food on Sunday evening, July 3, 2022.
The opening of this year’s celebration attracted a larger than usual crowd and offered an array of local vendors.
Local singer/song writer Lacey Mihalevich opened the event with the National Anthem before performing from the center stage at the Hurdland Park. Local band No Apology ended opening night lineup.
This year’s Little Mister and Miss Firecracker Contest winners are Hank Luthenauer, 5, and Falisity Kramer, 8, both of Baring.
Due to our press time, the bulk of our coverage will be in next week’s newspaper.
