Beulah Mae Turpin, age 95, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, in the Knox County Nursing Home in Edina, Missouri. She was born July 31, 1926, in Knox County, Missouri, the daughter of Howard Otho and Eva Ellen Goodwin Walter.

She was united in marriage to Lloyd J. “Tweed” Mauck on January 18, 1944, in Kirksville, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on January 29, 1987. To this union five children were born. On April 7, 1990, she was married to Vern B. Turpin in Edina, Missouri, and he preceded her in death on October 3, 1994. On March 15, 2005, she was married to Russell Turpin in Edina, Missouri.

Surviving are her husband Russell Turpin of Edina, MO;, four daughters, Judy (Harley) Hamlin of Edina, MO, Patty (Larry) Klocke of Edina, MO, Billie Lou (Phil) Johnson of Griggsville, IL, and Eileen (Steve “Dobber”) Miller of Knox City, MO; one step-child, Lewis Turpin of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Mildred Hamlin of Edina, MO; 16 grandchildren and 36 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; one step-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Beulah was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Lloyd Craig Mauck; sisters, Ethel Pinson, Edna Lumley, Georgia Pulse, Violet Osterle, Doris Miller and Bonnie Mauck; two brothers, Raymond and Ellis Walter; and one grandson, Kent Johnson.

Beulah attended Dailing Rural School in Knox County. Beulah lived most of her life in Knox County with the exception from 1987 to 1990, when she lived in Quincy, IL. Beulah was not afraid of hard work she helped with 4-H, Church dinners, was employed at Casey’s in Edina, cooked at the Edina Sale Barn and the Edina Country Club. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. Beulah was a very loving devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a member of the Edina United Methodist Church.

Visitation was held Monday, August 1, 2022, in the Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home in Edina, MO. Family received friends before the funeral services which followed at 2 p.m.

Burial was in Park View Memorial Gardens in Kirksville, MO. Reverend Graig Connell will officiate the services.

Music was provided by Audrey Hamlin, Debbie Peters and Carol Hayes. Musical selections were “One Day At A Time”, “Shall We Gather At The River” and “In The Garden”.

Casket bearers were Tony, Chris and Keith Hamlin, Jeff, Scott and Brett Klocke, Bill, Chad and Russ Miller, John Morton and Jamie Mauck. Honorary bearers were Annette Belitz, Michella Hull, Tasha Bartlett, Lori Roberts and Kloe Mauck.
