Highland junior Kaycie Stahl finished 14th in the girl’s field at the Class 2, District 3 Cross Country meet, held October 29, 2022 at Fulton. Stahl ran the 5000 meter course in 22:52.90 seconds.
Kaycie Stahl qualified for the November 5, 2022 Class 2 State Cross Country Meet at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia. The Class 2 race has a 9AM scheduled start. Stahl finished 92nd overall at the 2021 Class 2 girls state track meet at Columbia.
Junior Ethan Clow was the top Highland finisher in the boys’ race. Clow finished 51st with a time of 19:57.40 seconds. Junior Gage Rudd placed 77th with a time of 21:51.30 seconds.
Highland freshman Nathan Caudill placed 97th with a time of 23:20.90 seconds. Sophomore Gary Wright was 106th with a time of 24:51.90 seconds.
Senior Lucas Honts placed 110th overall with a time of 25:43.50 seconds.
Highland junior Macy Hamlin placed 66th overall with a time of 28:29.10 seconds. Lady Cougar senior Morgan Patton placed 75th overall with a time of 31:39.70 seconds.
