La Plata (6-3) sprang to a 29-15 lead in December 13, 2022 Tri-County Conference girls action at Brashear and took a 77-38 win. La Plata led 44-21 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs reeled off a 21-7 third quarter run to a 65-28 lead.

Claire Coy scored a game high 20 La Plata points. Ashlynn Lewis, Layne Mack and Macy Davidson scored 13 Bulldog points each. Audrey Belfield added nine La Plata points.

Heidi Lay led Brashear with 11 points. Paige Stutsman scored nine points Lacey Fisher put in eight points. Aubrey Borgmeyer and Marissa McMinn scored four points each. Cassidy Althide added two points.
