Brashear trailed the North Missouri Knights girls’ team by a 12-9 first quarter margin in January 5, 2023 varsity girls play at Brashear. The Lady Tigers outscored the Knights in each of the final three periods for a 40-34 win.
The North Missouri Knights are a Christian Homeschool team. The Knights have players from several area cities including Trenton, Kirksville and Macon.
Brooke Bond led the Knights with 13 points. Brooklyn DeFries scored nine points.
Brashear trailed 21-19 at intermission. The Tigers outscored the Knights 10-5 in the third quarter for a 29-26 lead. The Lady Tigers closed on an 11-8 run for the six point win.
Lacey Fisher scored a game high 24 points. Paige Stutsman was in double figures with ten points. Aubrey Borgmeyer scored three points. Maddie Moots put in two and Tayla Garlock added one point.
