State ranked teams enter Class 1 District 11 at La Plata play. The February 20-25, 2023 tournament features North Shelby (23-3, Ranked fourth in Missouri Girls Class 1) top seeded in the girls bracket.

Atlanta (22-4, Ranked third in Missouri Boys Class 1) goes in as the first boy’s seed. Second seeded North Shelby (10-12) challenges seventh seeded Bevier (6-18) on Monday, February 20 at 6:30PM in boy’s first round action.

Third seeded Brashear (13-12) takes on sixth seeded La Plata on February 20, at 8PM in first round district boy’s action. Brashear came into their regular season finale at Novinger winners of four of their last five contests.

The fourth seeded Wildcats (10-15) play fifth seed Marion County (8-14) in the first La Plata district game at 5PM Monday night. Atlanta challenges the winner of the Novinger vs. Marion County game at 6PM on Wednesday, February 22 at 6PM in the district semifinals.

Assuming the district boy’s seeds hold up, North Shelby will take on Brashear on Wednesday night at 7:30PM in the semifinal round.

The Class 1, District 11 boy’s championship game is scheduled for Friday, February 24 at 6PM.

Fourth seeded La Plata (12-14) starts off girls’ first round district play with fifth seeded Brashear (9-16) at 5PM on Tuesday, February 21. Second seeded Atlanta (17-9) plays seventh seeded Bevier (3-19) in the second girl’s district contest at 6:30PM Tuesday evening.

Third seeded Novinger (14-11) takes on sixth seeded Marion County (3-19) at 8PM Tuesday in the final La Plata district tournament first round game.

North Shelby plays the winner of the La Plata vs. Brashear first round girls’ game in the district semifinal round on Thursday, February 23 at 6PM. The remaining girl’s district semifinal, possibly between Atlanta and Novinger at 7:30PM Thursday night.

The La Plata girl’s district championship game is scheduled for Saturday, February 25 at 3PM.
