RICHARD JON DAVIS

Richard Jon Davis, age 40, of Edina, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023, at Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri. He was born June 10, 1982, at Williston, N.D. the son of Richard (Dickie) and Amelia (Amy) Bray Davis.

He was united in marriage to Kathy Lynn Kingsley on April 14, 2000.

Surviving are his wife Kathy Lynn Davis of Edina, MO, his parents Dickie and Amy Davis of Edina, MO, three children; Brandee Amelia Davis, Jonthan Ryan Davis and Mathew Lee Davis all of Edina, MO, one sister Christina Lynn (Mike) Sjeversen of Mora, MN and one brother Jerry Eugene (Shelly) Davis of Edina, MO, two brothers-in-law Mike (Tracy) Kingsley of Lynn, MO and Dennis (Elizabeth) Kingsley of Bowling Green, MO, four nephews, three nieces, one great nephew , one great niece and many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Jon was preceded in death by his grandmother Barbara Goodwin, three uncles, Clifford Lee Davis, Mickey Gene Davis, Jerry Ray Davis and his father-in-law Carl Kingsley.

Jon was a self-employed carpenter and general contractor for Double D Construction LLC. Jon enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, Bar-B-Qing and watching movies with his children. He was a member of the Knox City Baptist Church.

Jon will be cremated, and no services will be held at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
