Brashear leaped to a 34-11 lead during their February 3, 223 Homecoming Game with Madison. The Tigers (11-11) outscored the Panthers in every quarter for an 83-45 win.
Tiger Junior Carson Erwin established a new school record, sinking 11 three point field goals. Carson Erwin led all scorers with 41 points.
Madison played the boys game with only five players. Brashear outscored Madison 17-14 in the second quarter for a 51-25 lead. Brashear continued their hot shooting night with a 13-11 third quarter edge for a 64-36 lead.
The Tigers closed on a 19-9 run for the 83-45 win. Brashear held a 15-3 lead in converted three balls at the end of the night. The Tigers outscored Madison 17-15 in made field goals. Brashear was 4-8 from the free throw line. The Tigers sank 6-11 from the stripe.
Reed Layton led Madison (2-18) with 25 points. Jacob Jackson and Kyler Brucker added ten points each.
Ten Brashear players scored. Carson Erwin scored a game high 41 Tiger points. Jack Reeves was in double figures with 13 points. Avery Zentz scored eight points. Deyton White and Landon Fisher scored four points each.
Alex Houghton, Caden Taylor and Noah Shannon scored three points each. Lucas Keller and Cole Erwin put in two points each.
