Highland HS held their February 17, 2023 Court Warming Festivities wrapped around the Cougar’s final varsity basketball games with Palmyra.

Ansley Bringer was named 2023 Court Warming Queen. She was crowned by 2022 Court Warming Queen Sydney Mead. Sydney is currently attending Culver-Stockton College, working toward a Degree in Biochemistry.

Ansley Bringer was escorted by Court Warming King CJ Eaton. CJ is the son of Marcie Eaton of La Grange. Ansley is the daughter of Mike and Traci Bringer of Monticello.

The first runners up were seniors Morgan Keith and Devin Stutsman. Morgan Keith’s parents are Ryan and Crystal Keith of La Belle, Missouri. Devin Stutsman’s parents are LaGara Smith and Joseph Stutsman of La Belle.

Junior Candidates were Ali Reed and Braydon Logsdon. Ali’s parents are Meredith Reed and Brian Reed of Lewistown. Brayden Logsdon is the son of Nicholas and Holly Logsdon of LaGrange, Missouri.

Junior Candidate Dallis Dare was escorted by Brady Campen. Dallis is the daughter of Randy Dare and Kari Dare of LaBelle. Brady’s parents are John and Amber Campen of Monticello.

Sophomore Court Warming candidates included Savanah Lowrey and Kane Stegeman. Savannah is the daughter of Dawn Lowrey of La Grange. Kane is the son of Brad and Sherry Stegeman of La Belle.

Sophomore candidates also included Ellie Goehl escorted by Nathan Lane Hinton. Ellie Goehl’s parents are Dan and Rachel Goehl of La Grange. Nathan Lane Hinton’s parents are Nathan and Tricia Hinton of Monticello, Mo.

Highland 2023 Freshman Court Warming candidates included Chevie Sharpe, escorted by Christopher Gaus. Chevie Sharpe is the daughter of Brad and Heather Sharpe of Lewistown; Mo. Christopher Gaus is the son of Abigail and Henry Gunsauls and Corey Gilbret of La Grange.

Freshman candidates also included Cali Berhorst escorted by Jobn Brown. Cali’s parents are Stacy and Kim Berhorst of La Grange. Jobe Brown is the son of Janelle Brown of Ewing.
