MARJORIE LEE GOODWIN BRANHAM
Marjorie Lee Branham was born on August 20, 1939. She grew up in the small community of Edina, Missouri. One of five children, she was born to Vern and Mary Goodwin.
After graduating Edina High School in 1958, she married her husband Dennis Lynn Branham, Sr. They were married on July 25, 1959, and lived in California due to Dennis being in the military. They had seven children together. She retired from food service management after many years of dedicated service. Marjorie passed away on February 1, 2023, after she lost her battle to cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter Judith Bark, two siblings Dorothy and Francis.
She is survived by her six children, two loving sons, Dennis Jr. and Charles and four daughters, Anna, Elizabeth, Kathleen and MaryLou. She is also survived by her two sisters, Rosemary McMillen, and her twin Verna Marie Dabney, thirteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie was an active member with the Catholic church, and she loved watching baseball, Elvis, Cows and Capri Sun (Cherry only). Marjorie was a friend to all with a big loving heart and enjoyed her life fully. She loved to travel with Dennis Sr. during their lives together, making yearly trips to Edina to see family until his passing. She was very kind and compassionate and will be missed by many.
Services were held on March 2, 2023, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Lakeside, California.
Graveside services were held March 8, 2023, at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery, San Diego, California, with interment of her ashes with her husband Dennis.
