 DARIN ERIC BOWMAN 

Darin Eric Bowman, age 56, of LaBelle, Missouri, passed away, Monday, April 3, 2023, at the LaBelle Manor Care Center. 

Born February 7, 1967, in Kirksville, Missouri, he was the son of Gary Duaine Bowman and Wynona Waibel Banks. 

He was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Gerbes in 1998. 

Surviving are his mother, Wynona Banks and husband, Brian of Edina, MO; his father, Gary Bowman and wife, Sandy of Joplin, MO; two sisters, Kellie Bowman and Cedric of Joplin, MO and Laura Epler and Chad of Columbus, KS; one nephew, Matthew Beasley and one niece, Maria Beasley and Thomas of Joplin, MO; two aunts, Doris Murray of LaPlata, MO, and Rita Waibel of Edina, MO; one uncle, Garland Waibel of Memphis, MO, and cousins and friends. 

Preceded in death were his grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Bowman, Verna, and Irene Waibel; two uncles and one aunt, Donald Bowman and wife, Nancy, and Richard Waibel; and three cousins, Candy and Tom Phillips and Ron Waibel. 

Darin graduated from Knox County High School in 1985. He was a personal healthcare aid and worked in various care facilities. For fifteen years he worked at the Fulton State Hospital until 2019, when his health began to fail. 

Darin was baptized in the Christian faith at the Novelty Christian Church. He enjoyed sci-fi movies and all things supernatural. His hobbies were collecting renaissance weapons, fishing, and going to the lake. 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM. Saturday, April 8, 2023, at Hudson- Rimer Funeral Home at Edina, MO. Reverend Paul Harvey will officiate the services. 

Visitation will be on Saturday at noon until the time of services. 

Burial will be in the Novelty Cemetery, Novelty, MO.
