Marge graduated from Edina High School in 1959, marrying her high school sweetheart, Charles Montague on March 6, 1960. Marge never met a stranger, only a new friend. Her passion for people was only eclipsed by her exuberant personality, often landing her in humorous situations.

Marge used her people skills to build a successful career as a sales agent of life and disability insurance for Northwestern Mutual Insurance, modeling industry groundbreaking relationships with her clients that have yet to be surpassed.

Perpetually dedicated to new beginnings, she was instrumental in forming one of the first neighborhood watches in Boone County, with her husband Charlie. She was also active in many direct to client businesses. She was a proud collector of Victorian style antiques, angels, and friends. She enjoyed sewing, crochet, and coloring. Marge was dedicated to enjoying her family as often as possible, and especially enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie, both parents, and sister Evelyn. She is survived by sister Shirley Stokes (Keith) of Quincy, IL and Jimmy Schempp of LaBelle, Missouri, her children Ray Montague (Cheryl), Jeanne Montague Fudge, and Lori Montague. She is also survived by her four grandchildren, Amanda Wilson, Ory Fudge, Kelsey Gash (Hunter), and Dakota Fudge, as well as her 3 great grandchildren, Charlee Coleman Fudge, Theo Gash, and Zoey Gash, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Marge was diagnosed with dementia, greatly impacting her quality of life. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Alzheimer’s Association (https:// www.alz.org/research) or Coyote Hill Foster Community (https:// coyotehill.org/columbia/).
