Knox County Middle School and High School students and their families were honored for their academic standing during the 2022-23 school year by the Knox County Rotary Club.
A banquet was held in the high school gymnasium to celebrate the hard work and achievement of the academic top ten percent of students in grades six through 12.
The banquet meal was catered by Miller Catering of Edina featuring barbecued pork chops, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad and dessert.
After the meal was served by volunteer Rotarians, KCR-1 Superintendent Andy Turgeon gave the welcome address, and KCHS Choir student Agnes Reel provided the musical entertainment.
Each student was recognized for their achievement and given a medal by Knox County Rotary Club President Dr. Lisa Bosch during the award ceremony.
