North Shelby scored four times in each of the first two innings during August 31, 2023 road play at Kirksville. The Lady Raiders defeated Brashear by a 13-0 final score.
Addy Uhlmeyer went 2-3 with two runs scored at the plate. Uhlmeyer struck out 13 batters during the five inning game. Brashear was limited to a Lacey Fisher hit and two walks on the night.
Emme Jones tripled in two first inning runs for North Shelby. Jones late stole home for a 4-0 Raider lead with Brashear coming to bat. Aggressive base running helped the Lady Raider cause.
Andi Belt stole home during another North Shelby rally. Harper Copenhaver plated two more runs with a third inning double. North Shelby led 11-0 after three innings. North Shelby tacked on two more runs in the top of the fifth inning.
Emme Jones was 3-4 for North Shelby with a 3-4 batting performance with three RBI’s. Marissa McEwen went 2-3 for the Raiders with three runs batted in. Addy Uhlmeyer had another strong game going 2-3 with two runs scored.
North Shelby scored 13 runs on 13 hits. Uhlmeyer struck out 13 batters allowing one Lacey Fisher hit. Maddie Moots pitched the first two innings for B with five walks and one strikeout.
