Meadville took a three run lead in the top half of the first inning in Kirksville North Park softball action with Brashear. The Lady Tigers answered with six runs in the second inning and seven more in the third for a 16-4 win in five innings.
Lacey Fisher and Lillie McKim drove in three runs each with two hits each. Aubrey Borgmeyer had three more Brashear RBI’s. Brashear scored 16 times on seven hits.
Maddie Moots tossed five innings with six strikeouts, no walks and four runs on eight hits. One Lady Eagle run was earned.
McKinlee Fletcher went 3-3 for Meadville with an RBI. Alexis Edwards pitched three innings with three strikeouts and seven walks. Edwards was charged with 16 runs, seven earned on six hits. Krista Cokerham pitched one inning of one hit softball.
