Elliott Sevits and Mayson Humphrey scored four Schuyler County touchdowns each, leading the Rams (8-2) to a 72-20 win over Knox County in November 3, 2023 8-Man football district semifinal action at Schuyler County.
The game was tied at 20 points each when Schuyler County launched a decisive streak of 52 unanswered points. Connor Smith was 12- 17 passing with 198 yards for Schuyler County. Smith recorded three touchdowns passes and an interception.
Elliot Sevits rushed 22 times for 210 yards and four scores. Mason Windy was 3-64 yards rushing with a touchdown. Mayson Humphrey caught 11 passes for 190 yards. Humphrey scored on a 66 yard interception return.
Seniors Collin Hayes, Reice Miller, Robert Dooley and Shooter Griffith played their final football games for Knox County. The Eagles completed their season with a record of 2-9.
Schuyler County will challenge North Shelby (7- 3) at Queen City for their 8-Man Football District Championship on November 10, 2023 with a 7PM kickoff.
