“There are some good things, and some things you know you are going to have to work on,” Knox County head football coach Bruce Vannoy said. “That’s what you expect this time of the year.”
“All in all, we stayed healthy. That is important,” Coach Vannoy said. “We will go back and watch film and find stuff to nitpick that’s for sure. All in all, I’m happy with our performance. The guys came out and played.”
“No matter what they do defensively or offensively, they are going to be well coached and physical,” Coach Vannoy said when asked about the Eagle season opener at Concordia, Missouri on August 30.
“We have to come ready and get to work this week and be ready to play this Friday.”
The Knox County at St. Paul Lutheran 8-Man football 2024 regular season opener for both teams is scheduled to be broadcast on the KMEM Radio audio stream. Fans can listen live at 7PM or pick the streaming feed up on the KMEM archives.
