Local business owner Randy Carlson was the featured speaker during the Knox County Rotary Club's lunchtime meeting on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Knox County Community Center. Carlson talked to the club about the cost of the Edina Demolition Project and the commercial building demolitions planned for three of the dangerous and dilapidated buildings on the Edina Town Square. Carlson is accepting donations to help with his portion of cost of the demolitions, 20 percent of the overall costs. CDBG funding is expected to pay for 80 percent of the total cost.
