The public is invited to attend a Spring Bee Field Day hosted by Northeast Missouri Beekeepers on Saturday June 21, 2025, from 10am to 2pm at our hive location at the Lewis County Airport on highway 16 – two miles east of Monticello at 24608 State Highway 16, Canton, MO.
We will feature a live hands-on hive inspection demonstration, Q & A with active beekeepers, and – setup away from the bees – our educational display and literature, and we will end with refreshments and a prize drawing. We hope to see you there!
WARNING: There will be live bees flying around during the demonstration, and we strongly encourage all participants to wear proper protective equipment. The club does have several bee suits to loan to visitors.
Disclaimer: NEMOBA and the Lewis County Airport are not responsible for accidents.
