KNOX CITY, Mo. — Knox City will celebrate its annual Party in the Park on Saturday, July 12, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Knox City Park, with family activities, food, music, raffle prizes and a fireworks show.
The festivities begin earlier in the day, with vendor setup from 3 to 5 p.m. featuring local businesses such as Paula’s Nail Junkies, Tupperware, Shultzy’s Shake-Ups and others. Kid-friendly activities start at 5 p.m. and include a ball toss, egg race and “Guess the Number” contest.
Food options will be available from 5 to 9 p.m., with The Munchbox offering sandwiches, wraps, nachos and more. The Batter Shack will serve fish, chicken, spiral potatoes and other crowd favorites.
A Rotary Club–sponsored bingo session will run from 6 to 9 p.m.
Raffle drawings begin at 8:30 p.m., featuring prizes such as Adirondack patio chairs, a sunflower bird bath and thermometer, a gardening basket, a grilling basket, a complete drill set, a 6-pack mini fridge, cash, a 50/50 drawing and more. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event for $1 each, $5 for six, $10 for 12, or $20 for 24. Winners must be present to claim their prizes.
The event will conclude with a fireworks display at 9 p.m., sponsored by Shultzy’s Fireworks and the City of Knox City. Donations to support the fireworks will be accepted at the Knox City tent throughout the evening.
All proceeds and donations benefit Knox City Park.
