EDINA, Mo. (July 28, 2025) — The Knox County Health Department will host a special evening vaccination clinic Wednesday to help families prepare for the upcoming school year.
The back-to-school clinic will take place from 4 to 6 p.m. this Wednesday, July 30, at the health department, located at 102 W. Monticello in Edina. No appointment is needed.
Children entering pre-kindergarten, kindergarten, eighth grade and 12th grade often require certain vaccinations before the school year begins.
“If you’re unsure whether your child is up to date on their immunizations, give us a call,” said KCHD Administrator Lori Moots-Clair.
The clinic will also offer the HPV vaccine, which is recommended for preteens ages 11–12, though it can be started at a later age.
Parents or guardians with questions about immunizations can call the Knox County Health Department at (660) 397-3396.
