My husband and I were down by the river one day and saw a sailboat on land. It hadn’t been put in the water yet. The captain of the sailboat wanted to give instructions first on how running a sailboat works before the sailboat was to be put in the water. It was interesting. I’ve always loved the water and wanted to ride on a sailboat but never gave much thought to preparations needed before setting sail. There is a lot!
And, I pondered Proverbs 12:1 and 16:22, “WHOSO loveth instruction loveth knowledge…Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it.”
