ROBERT LESTER FLEAK
Robert Lester Fleak, age 82, of Hurdland, Missouri, passed away early, Friday morning, September 12, 2025, at the LaBelle Manor Care Center at LaBelle, Missouri.
Born near Hurdland, Missouri, on July 24, 1943, Robert was the son of Joseph Leroy and Willa Viola Golden Fleak. Robert was united in marriage to Linda Lee Lewis on October 3, 1963, at Hurdland, Missouri, and she preceded him in death on August 20, 2021. He was also preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Margaret Fetters; and two infant children.
Surviving are a son, Robert Dale Fleak of Hurdland, MO; two brothers, David (Sharon) Fleak and Alex Fleak all of Kirksville, MO.
Robert graduated from Hurdland High School. During his life, Robert worked at Shell Station tire shop for Whiz Corbin in Edina, was in farming, heavy construction work, operating a bulldozer; and worked at a sawmill. He was very good with mechanical things.
He enjoyed restoring old tractors; participating in tractor pulls and won many trophies; working with guns and he enjoyed the outdoors and hunting.
A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Hurdland, MO. Services are being handled by Hudson- Rimer Funeral Home, Edina, MO.
