Highland won the team championship of Class 1, District 3 Girls’ Golf at the Green Hills Golf Course at Chillicothe. The October 9, 2025 tournament saw Ava Hudson win the individual gold medal, emblematic of first overall with an 18 hole score of 80. Hamilton Penney senior Isabelle Potts was second with an 81. Highland senior Morgan Crist was third at 84 strokes.
Highland won the team championship with a score of 352. South Shelby was second with a 391. Monroe City was third at 419. Palmyra was fourth at 421. Putnam County was next at 428. Scotland County took seventh with a 441. North Shelby placed eighth at 442. Canton placed 13th at 490.
Palmyra Junior Avery Trower placed eighth individually with a 91. Senior Hannah Gaines of South Shelby and Highland Freshman Georgia Klocke tied for ninth place with a score of 92 each.
South Shelby senior Katelyn Wilt was 11th at 95. Highland Junior Josie Murphy took 12th at 96. Lady Bird senior Charlie Roush was 13th individually with a 97. Canton junior Raelyn Merida took 15th at 100.
Highland Junior Savannah Bowen tied for 19th at 104. North Shelby senior Hadlee Parsons took 25th place at 106. South Shelby sophomore Zairi Vanskike-Hardy was 25th at 107. Palmyra sophomore Brylea Dorsey tied for 26th at 108. Scotland County junior Allie Elenbaas tied with North Shelby sophomore Sadie Gander at 109.
North Shelby sophomore Mallory Griffin was 32nd at 110. Palmyra freshman Taylor Schuenke tied with Lady Panther Sierra Hudson for 36th overall at 111strokes. Scotland County sophomore Cameryn Siegfried tied for 39th at 112.
