Amanda Nicole Dalton, 40, of Milliken, Colorado, passed away April 9, 2020, in her home holding her husband’s hand. 

Amanda was born January 16, 1980, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of Alvin “Sonny” and Gloria Meador Singleton Thompson. 

She moved to Colorado in 2005, and married Tim Dalton on July 27, 2008, and they purchased their home in Milliken, Colorado, in June of 2010. 

She enjoys camping, cooking and evenings spent around a fire. Amanda’s ability to make new friends while staying connected with old friends was rivaled by none. 

Amanda is survived by her husband, Tim Dalton and their children, James and Patricia Dalton of Milliken, Colorado; father, Alvin Thompson; brother and sisters, Mathew Pulley, Jacqueline Pulley, Felicia Haynes and Kyle Rust; mother-in-law, Pam Dalton of Edina, Missouri; father-in-law, Robert “Bob” Dalton of Edina, Missouri; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Daniel and Ashley Dalton of Holt Summit, MO; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Singleton. 

A Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023, at the Doss Funeral Home in Edina, Missouri. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Saturday until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. 

Interment will be in the Linville Cemetery in Edina, Missouri.
