Scotland County and Knox County Eagles Play at Canton Jamboree

Scotland County swept both their boys and girls scrimmages at the November 26, 2025 Canton varsity basketball jamboree. Scotland County took an 11-10 lead after the opening period.
Knox County missed layups contributed to an 18-12 Tiger lead after two periods of play. Scotland County had a good third period and claimed a 32-19 win in the girls game.
Knox County turnovers helped Scotland County build a ten point first period lead in the boys game. Jaden Bergeson canned a Tiger home run ball for a 10-4 advantage with 2:30 to play in the first period. Bergeson scored with 12 seconds in the first period for a 16-6 lead.
The Tigers led 20-6 with 3:34 to play in the second period. Graton Carper hit a Knox county three for a 25-10 Scotland County lead at the close of the second period
Knox County played better in the third period. Isaac Shahan sank a bucket pulling the Eagles within a 27-20 deficit with 2:50 to play in the contest. The Tigers pulled away for a 36-24 win.
Knox County travels to Canton for their first game of the 2025-26 regular season. The November 25 contest has a 6PM start to the girls game. The Canton and Knox County boys play their game following the girls contest.
Highland travels to Kirksville for a varsity boys and girls twin bill on Tuesday, November 26 at 6PM. Brashear starts their regular season at the December 1-6, 2025 Novinger Tournament.
