The Knox County Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Halloween Safe Stop Trick-or-Treat event at the Knox County Community Center in Edina, MO, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Halloween.
The Knox County Chamber of Commerce holds a free drawing every year during Safe Stop. Every child who attends the event is invited to participate and win one of several prize bundles offered annually.
Local businesses, organizations, clubs, churches, and individual citizens are invited to set up a table and offer "treats" to area children during the event. Those who chose to participate in handing out treats are asked to bring enough for approximately 350 children. Tables are provided. Please be prepared to share an eight-foot-long table with another group if space becomes limited. Costumes are encouraged, but not required to participate in handing out treats.
