The series took two years off, largely due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Scott Stewart, General Manager of Shottenkirk Toyota of Quincy, Illinois threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

Missouri scored seven runs on seven hits. Rob Uhlmeyer scored two Missouri runs. Cooper Stotts had two hits and drove in two runs.
Missouri coach Mark Loman commented to the NEMO news media group after closing his high school coaching career with the 7-4 victory. “When they came out and scored three, and we came back and tied it, that was big,” currently retired Palmyra coach Mark Loman said.
“Grabbing that three run cushion kept from stressing out pitching at the end,” Mark Loman said. “Tanner (Van Winkle) struggled a big early,” Coach Loman said. “He hadn’t thrown in awhile. He came back and did fine. He got through three innings.”
“(Kaden) Chandler was unhittable. And then Cooper (Stotts) had three strikeouts in each of two innings. It is nice when you have guys who can go out there and be that dominant.”
“That is a really good hitting group over there.” Mark Loman coached 20 years at Palmyra and seven years at Camdenton. He spent 29 years in education. “It’s been well worth it,” Mark Loman said when asked to reflect back on his coaching career.
“I have some great memories,” Coach Loman said. This is going to be one of them.”
