Putnam County started their January 12, 2023 Milan Tournament girls’ game with an 18-1 run and rolled to a 49-19 consolation semifinal win over Brashear (4-9). The Lady Midgets held a 29-11 halftime lead.

Putnam County led 44-17 after three quarters. Jenna Knowles scored a game high 14 Midget points. Emma Whitlock scored 13 points. Karley Seaton was the third Lady Midget in double figures with 12 points.

Putnam County downed Novinger by a 66-47 final score, winning the girls’ consolation championship of the 63^rd Annual Milan Tournament.

Aubrey Borgmeyer led Brashear with ten points. Cassidy Althide and Lacey Fisher scored three points each. Marissa McMann scored two points. Heidi Lay added one Brashear point.
