April Meeting Minutes
At 9 a.m. we continued sewing the “Falling Charms” raffle quilt. Cathy Greenley, Carla Gower, Anita Miller, Kathaleen Winkleman, Lori Wallace, Sandy Devlin, Martha Bostick and Carol Hill were in attendance. The quilt top was completed.
Carla called the regular meeting to order at 1:15 p.m: Nine members and one guest were present.
Carol read the minutes for the March 2024 meeting. They were approved.
The Treasurer’s report was read by Anita, as follows:
A check to the Methodist Church for today’s raffle quilt sew day $25.00
Balance is $1670.42.
Treasurer’s report was accepted as read and approved.
Old Business: Everyone admired the finished raffle quilt top. Carla will quilt it, and Carolyn will bind it.
We have left-over fabric to make table runners.
New Business:
Burnell Oberholtzer and his wife from Green Acres Sew and Vac in Memphis MO will give a quilting machine demonstration at our May 20th meeting.
Shop Hop ideas were discussed. Lori has agreed to check dates and quilt shop hours. She will send us an update before the May 20 Kut-Ups meeting. We tentatively discussed the June 17th regular meeting day as shop hop day.
We discussed the Kut- Ups facebook page. We are not using it to post pertinent information, and the question arose, should we develop a private page?
Next Sew Day in LaBelle: May 1, 2024.
Next Kut-Ups meeting: 1:30 p.m. May 20, 2024.
Meeting adjourned.
Show and tell followed the meeting.
