November 1, 2025 | Vandalia, MO – Brashear’s cross country season is extending into November, thanks to a strong performance from Levi Clark, who earned a trip to the state meet with a top-30 finish at the MSHSAA Class 1 – District 3 meet on Saturday in Vandalia.
Clark crossed the line in 22nd place with a time of 18:54.71, securing his spot among the state qualifiers. On a cool, breezy morning and a deceptively tough course, he ran a steady race, maintaining control through the early miles and making a strong push in the final stretch. His performance reflects a season of hard work and consistency, and now he’ll have the chance to compete against the state’s best.
With Clark moving on, Brashear will be represented at the Class 1 State Championships next Saturday, November 8, at Gans Creek in Columbia. It’s a well-earned opportunity, and Clark will look to finish his season on a high note at one of Missouri’s premier cross country venues.
