Wreaths Across America Efforts Honor Veterans in Knox County
KNOX COUNTY, Mo. — Community members gathered Saturday at Novelty Christian Church to honor the service and sacrifice of local veterans as part of the nationwide Wreaths Across America campaign. The annual remembrance ceremony was held in conjunction with National Wreaths Across America Day on Dec. 13. On the eve of the event, the Knox County Commission signed an official proclamation designating Dec. 13 as Wreaths Across America Day locally. The trio helped lay wreaths at the Knox County All Veterans Memorial outside of the courthouse, and Cardwell helped lay wreaths at the Novelty Cemetery following the ceremony on Saturday.…

The Lady Eagles (2-4) outscored Clark County (0-6) by 13 made field goals to five on the night. Knox County grabbed an 8-3 first quarter lead.
