Knox County Rotary Club Kicks Off “Shoes for Orphan Souls” Shoe Drive Early

The Knox County Rotary Club is joining Rotary District 6040’s 25th annual “Shoes for Orphan Souls” campaign.

New shoes for children of all sizes may be dropped off at The Edina Sentinel office. More collection sites will be added in the spring.

This year’s districtwide goal is 25,000 pairs of shoes, with a matching donation from Buckner International to bring the total to 50,000. The campaign will conclude at the Rotary District Conference in Lee’s Summit on April 25, 2026.

Since 2001, Missouri Rotary clubs have collected more than 450,000 pairs of shoes for orphaned and vulnerable children.
