Local Authors Release Knox County Family History Book

A Knox County History: Six Generations and the Communities They Knew traces the Roseberry and Poore families from the 1830s through 1979, offering a detailed look at life in the Hurdland and Kenwood areas. The program, which runs from November through March each year, challenged patrons to read 5,000 pages. Those who completed the goal were entered into a drawing for a $100 grocery gift card.
